Happy Birthday-Selamat Ulang Tahun to ReShark, they just turned five!  But despite being so young their impact is already huge.

The report, “5 Years of Impact” reflects on ReShark’s first five years and their evolution from an ambitious vision to a dynamic force in shark and ray conservation. It all began in Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia with their first initiative, the Stegostoma tigrinum Augmentation and Recover (StAR) Project, which aims to recover the region’s depleted population of Indo-Pacific Leopard Sharks. (The Indo-Pacific leopard shark, also known as the zebra shark (Stegostoma tigrinum), is a species of carpet shark found in shallow waters of the Indo-Pacific region.

ReShark’s story is fascinating with an amazing team of local and international experts working with a over a 100 partners including governmental agencies, international zoos and aquariums, Indonesian and international academic institutions, local and international NGO’s and businesses.
