You may have already heard that there have been some exciting developments in Indonesia, specifically around relaxation of restrictions for international visitors. On 16th February, Bali welcomed a flight filled with the largest number of visitors since the pandemic restrictions were put in place in March 2020.

This is the news we have been waiting for and a huge milestone for us and the tourism sector. The government is working on a three-tiered approach: quarantine time has been reduced to 3 days (3×24 hours) for visitors with two vaccinations and a booster, and the next tiers intend to phase out quarantine restrictions completely and reintroduce Visas on Arrival (VOA).
