Dr. Gerry Allen, is the world''s leading tropical marine ichthyologist. His RAP (Rapid Assessment Program) was used to confirm Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia as the bullseye of marine biodiversity. His work, along with Dr. Mark Erdmann (Conservation International, helped create the conservation programs and MPA's (Marine Protected Area) in the region.
