Daniela Dirscherl is based in Munich and has always loved the water. She started diving in the early nineties and worked as diving instructor in the Maldives for a couple of years. Since meeting her husband Reinhard Dirscherl in 1998 she has been working as an underwater photo model. In 2005 she opened up her stock photo library WaterFrame which is today one of very few high quality stock agencies in Germany specialized in marine wildlife, nature and travel.
After starting to take underwater images, she gradually began learning the art and kept constantly improving her technique with persistent practice and by observing image makers she considered better than herself. She travels the globe and has dived in many fantastic locations, including three of her favorites, Raja Ampat, Cenderawasih Bay and Triton Bay, the BHS! She loves every moment beneath the sea…
Since I am diving I’ve travelled almost all over the world and have dived the most fantastic places and habitats. Still I love every moment under the sea……..
