A few highlights from Ramblings #11

• Re:wild and Bezos Earth Fund announced the Phoenix Species Project to recover threatened species-including the bowmouth guitarfish, now a part of the ReShark rewilding program
• The Shedd Aquarium (Chicago) is a founding member of StAR and ReShark. Up until now their contribution has been primarily concerned with “project development”.   ReShark is delighted to announce that their first shipment of eggs is now incubating in the Kri Nursery!
• StAR Thailand completes repair work on their Maiton Nursery that was damaged by rough seas
• The Misool Nursery on Kalig Island is now complete with new services, including solar power and expanded tours
• US Nation Public Radio’s (NPR) “Short Wave” Program feature a piece on the StAR Project
