A liveaboard vessel is one of the best ways to see more of the Bird’s Head Seascape, as many areas cannot be accessed except by sea. Most liveaboards are dedicated diving ships, but many take non-divers, and will often charter the entire vessel to a group of non-divers with prior notice. Most boats are self-contained and carry all the necessities for an enjoyable trip on board. Currently there are 40 licensed vessels operating in the BHS.
