ReSharker Issue 7
ReSharker Issue 7 is now available to the public. The ReSharker is the newsletter and impact report of ReShark, an innovative, international collective of aquariums, NGOs, governments, academics, and local communities dedicated to scalable shark and ray rewilding. They link ex situ and in situ shark and ray conservation efforts through breeding and conservation translocations.
ReShark is a part of the StAR Project, The Stegostoma tigrinum Augmentation and Recovery Project (StAR Project) is a global effort to restore populations of the endangered Indo-Pacific leopard shark (Stegostoma tigrinum) in regions where the species has disappeared or dramatically declined due to overfishing and habitat degradation.
